According to the Associated Press, NBC said on Wednesday that news anchor Tamron Hall will be leaving the network. This news comes after Megyn Kelly signed with NBC.
Hall co-hosted the third hour of NBC’s “Today” show, airing at 9a.m. with Al Roker. Just last week, they were told that their hour would be given to Kelly, who was promised a time slot in NBC’s daytime lineup.

Hall, according to AP, dclined staying on beyond the end of her contract this month. See her NBC statement below.
